Railex

All are O gauge vehicles, based (not rigidly) on SE&CR prototypes and were scratch built from Plastikard for the South Pole Light Railway (Mk.5). Axleguards are a generic type from Invertrain and fitted with Heywood wheel sets. Buffers are from Connoisseur models, left over from a couple of NER 4 wheel coach kits, (Jim supplied loads of these). Couplings are modified 4mm scale Sprat and Winkles per Crawley MRC's specification. The unusual brake vehicle is based on the Ramsgate Harbour Bank brake with additional toolbox (GWR shunter's truck style).
