The National Model Railroad Association
The NMRA nurtures and supports model railroading and model trains worldwide, and as a great number of programmes that enhance our enjoyment of the hoddy, such as the Achievement Program. The NMRA also sets and manages many of the standards that enable products from different manufacturers to play well together – the RP25 wheel being an example. It also manages the standards or DCC worldwide and does that in conjunction with RailCommunity and MOROP, who oversee standards in Europe.
