Axleguards are a generic type from Invertrain and fitted with Heywood wheel sets. Buffers are from Connoisseur models, left over from a couple of NER 4 wheel coach kits, (Jim supplied loads of these). Couplings are modified 4mm scale Sprat and Winkles per Crawley MRC's specification. The oil drum is a Grandt Line product, suitably distressed and with an 0603 Super Golden White LED and resistor added in the bottom, carefully positioned so that it also shines out of a rusty hole in the side of the drum. Ex GW Crocodile H in 4mm scale built from a Connoisseur Kit. Now in BR livery as a Weltrol WH. The anchor is from a ship modelling company and copies a picture in GW freight and Loads book by OPC. On my layout, it is presumed to have been cast in Birmingham and is on it's way to one of the London docks.
