Railex 2026
We ran the exhibition over the May bank holiday in 2026. We were once again in the the main hall at Stoke Mandeville. Details can be found by following the links below.
Best layout award
Each year we award a “Best Layout” plaque to the best layout as voted by all the layouts we invite. Layouts get three votes each and this year all the layouts got votes, indicating what a good year it was and the winning margin was very small. However, the Railex 2026 Best Layout went to Clarendon, a very fine P4 layout.

Best model award
We also award a “Best Scenic Layout” award. Each year we invite somebody with interest in all things scenic to be the judge. This year we were delighted to invite Dawn Quest, from her popular YouTube channel. In, once again, a very close field Dawn chose the deserving Clarendon as the winner.
